The Australian Government agencies (NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service – NPWS & the Commonwealth Harbour Trust) responsible for the Middle Head and Georges Head precinct in Sydney Harbour National Park where Cobblers and Obelisk beaches are located are preparing a master plan for the area.
Currently the master plan is in the planning and community consultation phase.
Whilst the future of the clothing optional legal status of the beaches remains unknown there is a chance this may be lost.
Could you complete the questionnaire – at this link.- https://environment.au.citizenspace.com/sydney-harbour-federation-trust/middlehead-planning-information-day – The closing date for the questionnaire has been extended to 21 June 2016 – 5pm (Sydney Time).
Although you may yet to visit Sydney or the beaches – I’m sure that one day you might.
If you have – I’m sure the main reason you did was to visit the beaches.
It would be appreciated if you could complete the questionnaire and outline your preference for the continuation of clothing optional beaches and these could be the main reason for visiting Sydney and the area.
